About
Raphael Schwanthaler
Physiotherapist & Public Health Enthusiast
I'm Raphael, a physiotherapist from Vienna.
Sport has been part of my life for as long as I can remember – earlier with football and tennis, today mainly strength training and beach volleyball. The fascination with the human body and the drive to question things brought me to physiotherapy.
What excites me most about my work is the people. Everyone is different – which is why every therapy should be individual. It matters to me that you understand why we do what we do. Because only those who understand their condition and their body can take lasting responsibility for their own health.
As a passionate athlete, an active therapy approach is central to my treatment. Where appropriate, techniques from manual therapy complement this. Alongside my work as a physiotherapist, I am increasingly involved in public health, because I am interested in how health can be promoted in the long term.

“The greatest medicine of all is teaching people how not to need it.”
